A Memorable Journey from Alwar to Gurugram – Sanskaar Bharti Public School’s Trip to Lohagarh Farms
Educational trips are among the most exciting parts of a student’s life — they combine learning, adventure, and fun beyond the classroom. To give students such a joyful and enriching experience, Sanskaar Bharti Public School organized a school trip from Alwar to Lohagarh Farms, Gurugram, one of the most popular rural adventure destinations near Delhi-NCR.
Early in the morning, the students assembled at the school campus, full of energy and excitement. After a short briefing by the teachers, the buses departed for Gurugram. The journey from Alwar to Lohagarh Farms was filled with laughter, songs, and endless chatter as students enjoyed the scenic view of the countryside along the way. The comfortable ride and cheerful atmosphere made the few hours of travel feel short and pleasant.
On reaching Lohagarh Farms, the group was welcomed with traditional music, fresh buttermilk, and a glimpse of the village lifestyle. Surrounded by greenery and open fields, the place immediately gave everyone a sense of calm and connection with nature. It was a refreshing change from the city’s hustle and bustle.
The day’s activities began with a tour of the traditional village setup, where students observed rural houses, bullock carts, and farming tools. It was an eye-opening experience that helped them understand India’s cultural roots and the importance of living close to nature. Teachers guided the students as they explored how villagers sustain themselves with simple, eco-friendly practices.
Afterwards, the students participated in a range of adventure and recreational activities — camel rides, tractor rides, zip-lining, rope climbing, pottery making, and tug of war. These activities not only gave them an adrenaline rush but also taught teamwork and coordination. The laughter and excitement echoed across the farm as both students and teachers joined in the fun.
A delicious traditional lunch awaited everyone, featuring authentic village dishes like bajre ki khichdi, sarson ka saag, kadhi, and makki ki roti. Students enjoyed every bite and appreciated the simplicity and flavor of Indian home-cooked food.
Post lunch, the students gathered to enjoy lively folk performances — bhangra, giddha, and dhol beats — creating a colorful and festive atmosphere. Some students even joined the dancers, matching steps with pure enthusiasm. The sight of teachers and students dancing together was truly heartwarming.
As the day came to an end, students captured photos, shared their favorite moments, and reflected on what they had learned — teamwork, respect for culture, and the beauty of rural life. The return journey to Alwar was quieter, with most students peacefully resting, their hearts full of happiness and memories.
The trip to Lohagarh Farms was not just a picnic but a day full of discovery, bonding, and learning. The management and teachers of Sanskaar Bharti Public School deserve special appreciation for organizing such a well-planned excursion that perfectly balanced fun and education. It was truly a day that students will cherish for a long time.
